  1. Say thank you. There are thousands of brands in the world – it means a lot that you would create an account with us.
  2. Reveal the benefits of having an account. There are many things your account can do, but most aren’t immediately apparent to new customers:
    1. Earn reward points.
    2. Shop your recently viewed products.
    3. Save your cart history.
    4. Build lists of your favorite products.
    5. Quickly track orders & submit returns.
    6. Manage your subscriptions.
    7. Remain signed in for up to 28 days.
  3. Highlight a screenshot of your account. Show the customer what your account looks like when it’s full of products, with a points balance and a past order.
  4. Call-to-action. After revealing the benefits of an account, consider what call-to-action is most important to your brand. Here are a few ideas:
    1. Complete your profile → Capture zero-party data by asking customers to share more about themselves. You can link to Status Preferences, a Status Survey, or a third-party quiz like Okendo.
    2. Save your first product → Wishlists are a great way to learn what customers want. When customers save their first product, you’ve captured an important data point & created a good reason to email them in the future.
